The tournament

Nobody in the Blind Arena fights with their eyes. Blind fighters come as they are; sighted ones wear the Veil, a blindfold tied on at the gate. The eyes lie. The ears remember.

Every round is a trial of a different skill: fending for yourself, fighting beside a team, mastering every weapon, guarding a site or a leader. Each round you finish earns tournament points: 2 for finishing, 10 for a win, and 1 for each kill. They add up for each of the eight trials and for the season, which runs for a calendar month.

The player with the most points in a trial is its champion and takes its title, from the Lone Wolf of free for all to the Kingslayer of kill the leader. The most points over every trial wins the Silent Crown. Climb from Initiate through Listener, Hunter, Warden and the Unseen, then on through Silent Step, Nightblade, Veilsworn, Hushfang, Duskwalker, Thunder Ear, Dreadsong, Wraith, Voidwalker, Grandmaster, Legend of the Dark and Mythic, to Maren's Heir. When the month ends, its champions are carved into the hall of champions.
